Melancholic Earth and Black Bile: the Elemental and Alchemical Four Humours today

The concept of the Four Humours dates back to Ancient Greece and Rome, and was only replaced with the advent of modern medicine. The humours were also woven into elemental magical practice for centuries - from the humeric practices of early modern magicians and alchemists, to the modern day practices of witches and occultists.
